Thus, the Carrera was born: a sleek chronograph designed for professional drivers and speed enthusiasts, combining functionality and elegance. Since then, the Carrera has established itself as one of the pillars of sports watchmaking and a symbol of the competitive spirit.
Over the decades, many personalities have contributed to the Carrera's legend. From Formula 1 drivers like Juan Manuel Fangio and Ayrton Senna, to cinema icons like Leonardo DiCaprio and Ryan Gosling, the Carrera has always been associated with a world of prestige, sportiness, and elegance.
The Carrera CBN2A1E.BA0643 is a contemporary interpretation of this great classic. Released in a limited edition of just 1,860 pieces, it celebrates TAG Heuer's 160th anniversary. To mark the occasion, TAG Heuer has decided to reinterpret the famous Heuer Carrera "Dato 45," which was the very first Carrera equipped with a rotating date disc. This automatic chronograph is powered by the Heuer 02 movement, boasting an 80-hour power reserve. It is distinguished by its deep, luminous blue dial, contrasting with its two white counters. Its 44 mm steel case and tachymeter bezel recall the Carrera's sporty DNA, while its pure, modern lines make it an elegant and perfectly balanced piece. The stainless steel bracelet completes the look, combining a sportswear look with a certain comfort.
The watch we are offering is dated 2022 and is in near mint condition. It has only been worn once or twice by the previous owner and has been carefully preserved.
The watch comes with its original box (and overbox), as well as its official documents and international warranty card.
